So, we sent Julia to a second week of “Trapeze Day Camp.” There are some photos below from the show they gave on Friday.
They gave the girls a choice of themes, and they all voted on the theme of “zombies.” (There was one little girl who didn’t want to dress as a zombie, so she dressed as a princess instead.)
Jennifer helped Julia with her costume and makeup. They were actually working on it for a couple of hours before the show. So, the first few photos are of Jennifer applying makeup right before the show started.
The class did a little performance of “Let’s do the Time Warp” and then they all did their tricks. After the photo gallery below there is a short movie.
Below is a short movie; Julia’s stunt start about halfway through.
Julia liked her trapeze lesson so much that we sent her to “trapeze school day camp” the next week. They had lessons for about two hours a day and on Friday the students gave a show. The theme was “Superheroes and Supervillians” and each girl dressed as a Superhero or Supervillian. Actually, Julia was the only one who picked a hero — she dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. That’s why she’s green in the photos below.
Here’s a movie of Julia’s performance. Jennifer was taking the video while I was doing the still shots.
Experimental post, to see what a small gallery looks like in WordPress. These are pictures from Julia’s first trapeze lesson.
